Sludge Layer Thickness Measuring Devices

According to DIN EN 858 for gasoline separators and DIN EN 1825 for grease separators, a sludge trap is required upstream of separator systems. This is necessary to prevent heavier components from being carried into the light liquid separator and clogging it. The standard allows a maximum sludge layer thickness of 50% of the nominal volume here. In order to be able to operate a separator system properly, the sludge layer thickness must therefore be determined monthly or semi-annually.
For this purpose, we have developed sludge layer thickness measuring devices with which you can easily carry out the measurement.
For professional use, high-quality measuring tapes are used here. These are coated to ensure the longest possible service life.
When a slurry trap is first installed, the total depth must be determined. This can be found out by lowering the solder with the Kombi sludge layer thickness gauge.
Alternatively, the dismountable measuring rod can be used here.
